Passes on "3"

I'm sure this has been covered but why are pass plays on "3"? Couldn't find a reason in the manual.

Do most coaches follow the recommended snap counts?

Also now that I really think about it, what is the specific reason for going on "1" for LEFT/RIGHT Cues? My first though is it would make more sense to go on "1" for the QUICK Hitters.

To get the defense to jump off on "2".

You can only go on "3" if your own team won't jump off.  That means you must throw every third play in practice or the kids get used to going on "2".

Also now that I really think about it, what is the specific reason for going on "1" for LEFT/RIGHT Cues? My first though is it would make more sense to go on "1" for the QUICK Hitters.

You could.  Depends upon how many Quicks you run.
