has any body used above as base formation? or red / blue wing T? I did 1 year and went 12-0 and that was with only the JET series. Stole as much DCWT as I could.

One of the tricks, and IMO the biggest, is to still maintain threat to whole field before and after motion. Utilizing certain strategically picked plays and the passing attack accomplishes exactly that - whole field threatened.  What this does is stops the defense from reacting to motion by forcing defenders to stay home. Now we get what we want more hats at POA than defense has defenders.

before motion

we have 4 vertical threats = defense must have safety, unless we cant pass worth a shit

after motion

reverse = backside DE and corner must keep contain, crash in at own risk! and not that thats going to stop a jet sweep going other direction anyways???
fake jet sweep counter = backside OLB must not flow lest he be burned
fake jet sweep wedge = middle of defense is going to have to play wedge almost constantly, or I will drive them off the field! CAPTAIN INSANO SHOWS NO MERCY!!!
fake jet sweep 25/26 lead cross = you  know that DE thats good at getting up-field to slow down or stop the jet sweep, hes been coached specifically to kill the jet sweep.... sometimes his friend the OLB joins in, getting outside and up to stop the jet sweep....THIS PLAY DESTROYS THEM!!!!

oh the playside corner you ask, thats easy with the track blocking to safety combined with that pesky #2 pass route he will have plenty on his plate...not to mention the #3 route if the defense is in a cover 0 (no safety) & even if the corner chases.

NOW lets make the jet sweep hurt and of course we have to block it 2 ways, 3 if your nuts, to accomplish this.

#1 ) Clarks DCWT 47 speed or 38 speed, block it by the off tackle goes behind DE and then cuts out to corner. This is fine when you have some sort of problem pulling guards. The defense is reading the guard? The defense is blitzing the side of motion?

#2) counting system starting from playside 3 tech, the center will go thru playside A gap, or "cut" any defender coming thru playside A gap. pst has #1, wing has #2, lg pulls outside and has #3 defender on or near LOS, corner cracks outside LB and tracks to Safety

#3) CRACK = SE cracks DE because he is lining up outside our slot, about 2 yds or so outside the tackle slot is half a step closer to LOS, the Slot cracks down crossing face of off tackle, the tackle and guard both pull, now its a power sweep, (To TE side pulling both G & T is always good

defense is still flowing to ball and matching numbers...add these cues to the play..... POWER and LEAD
