Off-season, pre-season, or in-season?  Each is very different.

A couple of things that might influence my decision:

1) How much time do I have? At one organization, I could practice for two hours. The other limited me to 90 minutes.

2) How many coaches do I have? With more coaches I can split things up (e.g. I can work with the linemen and another coach can run the fence drill)

In season. I usually start with in-season and work backwards. But all are welcome. Practice schedules are probably my favorite thing to ponder about.

2 offensive coaches. 2 days per week (other 2 days are defense) until games begin. After that Monday becomes film study. 2 hour practices

Week 1 - install Toss, Sweep, Wedge, Beast Blast (every day is 5-10 minutes of Beast Blast reps vs defense)

Week 2 - install BB counter, WB counter, reverse, Beast counter

Week 3 - install flood strong, flood week, trap, Beast pass

Week 4 - install Gun package

Typical day:

10 minute warmup

15 minutes special teams

45 minutes indies

45 minutes team to include bird dogging Toss and Power Hour

5 minutes Beast Blast (more if we cut indies/team short)

Adjust as needed.

Game plan? I got your game plan. We gonna run the bawl some. We gonna throw the bawl some. We gonna play some defense. We gonna run some special teams, but we better not run kick return but one time and we sure as heck better not punt.
