Seems like there's a chance that there may be no football season. This stuff is going to get worse before it gets better, and we're no longer able to contain the virus. It's not a matter of if but when a large chunk of the population will get it. A Vaccination isn't on the horizon for at least a few months according to my understanding, and we can't even get tests thanks to our strict protocols. In fact, if we successfully fight it, then we'll all be quarantined for longer. If we were all to get it very quickly it would be over very quickly, but the deaths would be higher, so nobody wants that.

In CO:

Basketball State Championship tournaments cancelled.

Spring sports postponed until April 6.

Flex Football postponed until April 13.

Both of my hockey leagues suspended until further notice.

My local Parks and Rec has closed their facilities until further notice.

Gatherings of 250 or more banned statewide. 50 or more in certain counties.

Hasn't been toilet paper on shelves in 4 days.

Went to my grocery store today at 2:30. 100% devoid of the following:

 - Onions

 - Potatoes

 - Carrots

 - Chicken (not kidding)

 - Ground Beef

 - Ham

 - Dry pasta

 - Dry beans

 - Dry noodle sides

 - Ramen

 - Peanut butter

 - Milk

 - Frozen burritos

 - Frozen peas and carrots

 - Paper goods

 - Hand soap

 - Hand sanitizer

 - 409 and other cleaning products

 - Hot dog buns

I saw a lady complaining to a manager that she was holding a pack of baby wipes and another lady snatched it out of her hand and ran off. Not sure what she wanted the manager to do about it.

Is this what the end looks like?

Tonight, I cleaned my AR-15 and loaded up all my magazines. I'm not terribly worried about the Coronavirus, but I'm sure as hell worried about us.

After I was coaching about 5 years, I lost my taste for watching football.  It felt so lame having only the level of involvement of a spectator, whether in person or on TV.  So it was for about the past 8 years.

This year my curiosity got me hooked on the XFL, and I watched at least most of every team's first 5 games via pirated streams on YouTube.  And now halfway thru the season that got yanked away.
