Yeah, the line between right and wrong is strange when you need your players to be aggressive. Every coach ought to have a rule that they NEVER have any physical contact with their players in any way shape or form. There is no reason to ever get into a lawsuit.

This might be worth a thread of its own.  I can hardly imagine coaching just by pointing, talking, and demonstrating with the coaches' bodies on dummies and sleds, never touching the players.

Even harder in some other sports, like swimming or wrestling.

By physical contact I don't mean no touching. It's obviously important for some things. I just mean never hit in any way. I would have no issue with someone positioning someone's back in a 3 point stance for example.

You need to be more careful throwing around phrases like "any way shape or form".
