Friday my youngest son and I are starting out on a cross country road trip through 27 states. We are going to pick up my oldest son at the airport in Vegas and make him drive on the way back. One of the highlights will be finishing Day 9 and about 4500 miles with Burnt Ends at Jack Stack's in Kansas City, HOME OF THE GREATEST BBQ ANYWHERE.
I can remember going to the Freight House in KC when I was stationed in Leavenworth. It was a great atmosphere with good food. I am envious for that opportunity.

I got sent out there for a National Electric Code Class in 2019 and walked down to the Freight House from my hotel. That's the only place I have ever made a return trip to on a work trip. I had to go back for more.

So if my math is correct you will be in Denver on day 8.....a Saturday. Its our bye week but Lar is putting together a game with an opposing League at 9am in Boulder. 👍👍🏈

Sorry, I wish we could fit that in. I am going to keep my eyes open for a deal on airfare and come back out there. There's a lot of Colorado I still want to see.
Lunch with Dave Potter and dinner with you and Gumby a few days later was a great week for me.
I could be coaching a rec team now but had already agreed to go on this wild cannonball run trip with my boys.
