keep driving? idk. maybe i do. teach them how to fall. but i teach aggression, dont fall. Coaches?

Interesting thought. I see it, too.  Mostly from pre and post-practice grab ass, but sometimes in games. Maybe teach them how to roll, especially if they fall backwards?

When in doot . . . glass and oot.

Does rolling do anything to save the head?  Or is it just about the shoulders and ribs?

Most I see are a kid who falls backward onto his back with his head slamming on the ground. Maybe just teach the to avoid that kind of fall.

Concussions are caused by the brain being slamming into the cranium.  I'm no expert on this but it makes sense to me that learning to roll as you hit the ground would prevent much of that slam and bruising of the brain.
