Last night i reffed a 12u and saw this formation. Is there a name for this? It's like short T with that sniffer, but it's in the I. Never seen this before so curious.

I can explain it to you, I can't understand if for you.

We run something similar, but we offset the FB to the sniffer in kind of a King look. We just call it Strong Right or Left. We also move the FB up as a sniffer in the G-T gap with the other Sniffer and call that Rhino. Both function primarily as the I formation for us.

Were you reffing for Pop Warner? Do you know if their playoffs start soon?

That’s our short yardage/goal line formation. We have a whole series we can run out of it. I don’t know what it’s real name is. We simply call it goal line.
