Double Wing Illustrated emagazine that we sell has direct snap double wing and single wing and Beast in it. Lots of stuff based on our time with it back in the day.

go to www.coachcalande.com and browse the DWI table of contents and see if anything there gets your interest.

"Shotgun double wing" could mean one of 2 different things to me.

One meaning, which i think (but am far from sure) is what more coaches mean by it today, is an offense modified from the Markham style of DW to have the player taking the snap stand a few yds. back of the snapper and catch the snap flat footed.  I think you'll get info on that mostly from DW coaches who use it as a variation.

The other meaning is the older style of DW, where a player (who may be one of two, or the only one, positioned to take the snap) usually runs onto the snap as it comes, i.e. "snap and go" as Adam Wesoloski writes.  You'd get info on that mostly from single wing coaches.
