Heads up play by the returner, although I would have my team with the "poison" call so that we could just get the ball where it stops.
We had one a couple of weeks ago to start the second half that was funny. We are up something like 20-0 and this team has no shot (we were kneeling down in the last 2 minutes of the first half at mid-field). They are kicking off to us to start the second and we have our hands-team out there and we have told them that the onside is coming.
Their kicker proceeds to kick it about 3 inches from the tee. Not a whiff and I don't know that he could ever hit it that short ever again. Everyone is just standing there staring at the ball.
