No problem i agree always good to learn
Coach - are you at RBV? If so, your varsity had a nice run in the playoffs this year. I coach 8th graders at La Jolla Pop Warner and I'm definitely planning on going heavy Pistol next season. I would love to buy you a cup of coffee (or any other beverage of your choice) and pick your brain a bit about this scheme. Let me know if you're here in greater San Diego, and when & where would be a good time & place to get together - I'll be happy to come to you, I just want some of your time, if you're willing.
Go Longhorns!!

Chris Klenakis, former Nevada OC and current Iowa State O-line coach, is speaking on the Pistol at the Atlantic City Glazier Clinics on February 28. I am looking forward to checking it out.
He is also taking part in a Glazier E-Clinic on 1/27/2014.
Sat in on Klenakis seminar at Glazier in Atlantic City this morning. He went over Horn, Down Pass & Zone Read. Great stuff. Surprised to learn that Horn and Down Pass are deeply rooted in Wing T. Loved his overall philosophy of keeping it simple for his players and not overthinking mechanics.
He is also putting out a Pistol offense system with Championship Systems. Not cheap, I think the base price is $795.

I brought his dvd package from Champioship Productions. It's very detailed and loved his hit progression dvd with o-line tech. Again, these is a lot of Pistol stuff out there. Just scroll and when you find one you like get it in. lol
