Hey Coaches looking for best coaching material preferably dvds for coaching the single wing to 7-8 year olds. Tried Dave Cisars material but never received my order so any suggestions outside of his stuff please!

I always liked "short punter"

I can explain it to you, I can't understand if for you.

On vimeo:The NSWCA - Home of SW Football

This is a collection of coaches clinics.....all single wing.   Its a cheap membership that is well worth it.  Tons of game film as well.

Darlingtons videos you can get on his web site or through glazier drive(updated videos and Q&A).

Cisars pdfs are just as good as his videos.  search for pdfs on his website.

Not sure how others feel, but "Single Wing Offense for Youth Football" by John T. Reed was invaluable to me.

The longer I coach, the lesser I know.

In addition to the great sources listed, I recommend:

1) Googling "Bruce Eien Fat Formation". This is what I used to teach my 8U team in my first season and have used ever since (with some Double Wing mixed in). He has material in a lot of different places, so there's a lot you can pick up.

2) Ken Keuffel's Winning Single Wing Football.

3) While I'm not as experienced as the other great coaches that have weighed in, you can always ping me for ideas. I've coached 8U for the past four years, so I've got a few ideas about how to explain it to that age group.

Hope this is helpful!

Here's one of my favorites (and yes, I ran this at 8U)
