Nice, man! And only 1 clip featuring my team so . . . hooray for us?
When in doot . . . glass and oot.
@gumby_in_co y'all stuffed it pretty good.
The longer I coach, the lesser I know.
I enjoyed these clips... and the one with the Power Tackle pulling!!

For some reason I can't add a topic! I'm in no way trying to hijack a post, but I am familiar with most of you and I want to start a conversation about running SW from under center. We have a stupid no direct snap rule at 6U and I don't want to take time teaching something that I'm going to abandon next season. Thanks Fellas!

I'm running Beast under center. Don't see why you couldn't run SW as well. Geometry may be a little different but I always felt that there is more deception under center than from gun.

I think that's only true if you snap the ball to a QB most of the time. If you are snapping to different backs and have a tight formation with the backs tight, it's almost impossible to find the ball. I have had assistants on the defensive side in practice, who know our plays inside and out, cannot track where the ball is. Now, admittedly, I haven't had the smartest assistants but the deception is always there.
Hope you guys have a great season.

That's my thinking too. If you always snap to the same position, you're counting on that player's execution for all your deception. And I agree with Gumby that that player can be more easily deceptive getting the ball handed to him that thrown to him by the snapper, so yeah, gun is harder to be deceptive from than T, I, etc. for the same type of play. But if the snap can go to different backs, especially if they take crossing paths to each other, then you have a high degree of deception just from their taking the snap, without any further ball fakes.
@rpatric - I did this two years ago. Ran mostly power, sweep, counter, and spin counter.
I think I've got a diagram of the Spin Counter somewhere on here. In a nutshell, you fake to the 2 (as if he's running 29) and have the QB spin around to follow the pulling guard.
