Hey Guys,

Love getting on from time to time and seeing what is going on in the forum. I am slowly starting to get back into coaching. I am coaching my schools 6th grade basketball team this year and have been able to make it to one football practice. I had a few messages this summer about my Auburn Style Spread offense for Middle School-ish age so if anyone is interested here it is to check out!

Thanks Guys! Hope all of you well!

I have been running the Auburn style offense, only gap blocking. I’m coaching 7th grade with a lot of new kids. What this really is, is Apopka balanced Spread Offense. I like how it’s going but we are just out gunned but I realize that and we do the best we can. I love the offense especially being out gunned because we can keep teams off balance and they just can’t tee off on us. I wish I had a team I could have started with and built up over a few years then I think this would be even that much better. I run power, counter, iso, Sweep and a lot of jet sweeps and stuff off of it. I have some screen game and quick Game passing that keeps the defense at bay. There are some things I’d probably do a little different now that I have run it for a while. Nothing major just some play packaging. I also have combo plays not RPO’s because I signal from the side if I want the run or pass, I think that’s pretty cool. I’d probably do more of that from the beginning next time.

I realized that I had not added the pass plays to the "total plays" spread sheet. It Should be easy enough to add however.
