I'm helping/watching a league that runs their first five practices (2 hours each) with no pads.  I have never seen this before.  Ten hours seems like a long time but their goal is to acclimate the players to the heat.  I figure with this much time I'm going to need to suggest some fun games for 7's.  I know there's a bunch out there but I've never had five practices to ever get them in before.  Links would be great.  Thanks!

Michaels Patriots drill

Tic tac toe relays are a blast -

Back to feet -

When I coached 7-9s, we required 10 hours of conditioning.  We filled the time with Bear Crawls, Crab Walks, foot fire drills and the like.  No games, but continuous work.

We usually closed at least one conditioning practice with Deer Hunter.  Bring lots of ice water and some sponges, it's a great way to find some of your more evasive players and it's fun for them to cool off a bit. Air force football is a great closer as well.  Both get the kids excited to do what turns out to be conditioning.

Enduro of course as well although they aren't usually quite as excited for that.

Ran Circle of Death tonight for my first time while waiting on High Command to tell me what defense I can run.  Kids loved it.  Could use some more competition suggestions as we ended up running longer than expected when High Command passed the buck.

Plyo push ups are fun competition during that drill. From chest on the ground throw yourself as high as possible. Older kids add claps, "how many claps can you get? "
