I know the marines do it at the high school level but I just got off the phone with the local Army recruiters and they have actually started a program for team building clinics with youth football teams.  I'm going to use one of our mandatory conditioning days to take advantage of this. Our orgs no contact policy during the conditioning time is extreme as I can't do any drill that intentionally creates contact between players. That means no "whose ball", "gauntlet" even form and fit exercises that have no hitting at all aren't allowed. No sumo because they touch each other but we can do 3 way tug of war. It's kind of silly but someone went too far a few years ago so they locked it down for everyone.

I'm an Army veteran so it was nice to see that they are getting in on being a part of the community at a younger age.
