First Scrimmage in the books..
Last night I had my first scrimmage with my 8u team. Most of the kids hadn't played before. Here's the highlights (and I love the format some of you put these in)
First series on defense: Missed Kill Shot, 80-yard run.
First series on offense: Lined up in Beast. Ran Power Play to both sides. 14 Plays, 80 yards, scored a TD.
Second series on defense: TFL, TFL, TFL, 90-yard run on a missed assignment.
Second series on offense. Lined up in UBSW. Ran Power play to both sides. 12 plays, 42 yards, stopped on downs.
I'm actually pretty pleased with results. All of the mistakes are correctable!

I watched a 7-9s game, yesterday. Here's my play-by play:
Scrum, fumble, penalty, kid runs outside and goes 65 yards for a touchdown.
Fumble, scrum, penalty, kid runs inside, bounces it outside and runs 65 yards for a touchdown.
